Ootd: Simplicity came a long way...

Simplicity goes a long way, which is something I've learned lately with fashion.
I loved this outfit today!  I wore my lbd(zara) and paired it with a maxi skirt. The lbd is mid thigh high, and  also has a golden zipper in the back which added a little personality to the dress. Very simple, and chic.

The maxi skirt I wore (H&M) is a rust orange, with a black binding at the hip. One of the things I've been obsessing over lately with my outfits are maxi's. I've also been on the look out for some maxi dresses, but I haven't ran into anything that tickled my fancies. Any suggestions?

Zara started their sale about a week ago from today, and I am so happy with my purchases. I bought these sandals which I thought were so cute. Their colors complimented each other, and I knew it would go along with a lot of the clothes that I have in my closet.

I also wore my new Michael Kors watch today! Definitely was the cherry on top of my outfit.

A lot of my dressing up has to do with my mood that day, and today was definitely a "lay low" kind of day. It's so early in the morning and I have not yet had any sleep. Ohh lawdy.

Random thoughts: My mission now is to look for some "arm candy". However, I tend to be very picky of my jewelry. Anyone know where I can find nice jewelry that doesn't look cheap but is wallet friendly? Hehe ;)

if you have any ootd pictures, then do share! I love seeing how others create their ootd. Inspiration really comes from everywhere and everyone.

Michael Kors

So today was a very relaxing Saturday. Turns out I made my very first purchase of a designer watch! Eeeek! I know that I normally wouldn't spend hundreds of dollars on an item, but with this watch I couldn't resist. I was talking to my mom earlier of how I'm not very fond of "expensive items". I'm a cheap girl. I like going to the sale sections at clothing stores, and I don't even bother looking at items that aren't even on sale. But ... there's an exception to that. There are certain expensive items that I do admire, and I'm sure you do too. So I don't really find it a problem splurging on certain things, which can be a key item to making the outfit look more ... stylish.

Isn't she beautiful? The stones around the clock, and the shining of the band gave it its femininity characteristic. I fell in love when I saw her, and had to have her!

I am very happy to make the choice of purchasing this watch. I'm looking forward to add some arm candy along with it, which makes dressing up even more fun. I'll be sure to post up pictures of me pairing up this watch with different outfits.

Good day everybody!
